Carriage of sports equipment as baggage


transportation of bycicles, boards, canoes and other sport luggage

On international flights we carry the below mentioned pieces of sports equipment at the flat rate indicated. The flat rate is valid up to 30kg. Every additional kg is charged with the excess baggage rule of 10 € per way at the check-in counter. If you book the corresponding excess baggage in advance, you can save up to 70%.

Please notify our travel center in writing at least 3 working days before departure of any sports equipment that is subject to registration. Please find the PDF application form here.

On domestic flights the excess baggage fee of 6TL/kg takes effect.

Bicycles

Subject to notification : diving lamps and cylinders. Diving cylinders are only transported empty and with opened valves.
Deactivated diving lamps (bulb or accumulator removed) are only transported as carry-on luggage and must be registered at check-in.

Tennis, squash, badminton equipment, fishing tackle, water skis, skis, inline skates, sports bows, riding equipment, etc.
