SunExpress was founded in October 1989 as a subsidiary company of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines. Today, SunExpress is the market leader in charter flights between Germany and Turkey as well as one of the largest scheduled carriers between Europe and southern Turkey. More

Our fleet – one of the most modern in Europe – comprises 21 aircrafts: 18 Boeing 737-800s and three Boeing 757-200s. The fleet’s average age is 7.69 years, an excellent value when compared  the industry average and to a reflection of our fleet’s high level of environmental compatibility. For instance, all our aircrafts are fitted with winglets, which helps to conserve fuel. More

Founded in 1989 by a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, SunExpress becomes 20 years old. During the kick-off event  the 20th anniversary on 10th of March in Antalya, SunExpress introduced the new livery for its aircrafts that will operate with this new logo throughout the 20th anniversary.
