In your own interest, please note that in all cases you must be at the check-in counter 90 minutes before the departure time printed in your travel confirmation.

This latest check-in time serves to ensure the smooth handling of your flight. Should you fail to report for check-in by the deadline, SunExpress has the right to allocate your seat to another traveller. Reporting for check-in after the latest check-in time can result in your being denied transportation.

1. Information on ticketless flying / electronic tickets.

1.1. “Flying without Ticket“ is offered for all SunExpress routes that can be booked on the Internet. Should you prefer a paper ticket on a route allowing an e-ticket, we charge a flat-rate fee of €10 for issuing and mailing a ticket (or having it available for pick-up). Please contact our Service Center (tel. 01805 95 95 90 (0.12 € / min.)) in this case.

1.2. When making a reservation online via the SunExpress Internet pages, please print out your online reservation confirmation at the end of the booking process.

1.3. When your online reservation is completed, you receive an additional reservation confirmation from SunExpress, which will be sent to the e-mail address or fax number indicated in your customer data. This confirmation contains additional flight-related data such as free baggage allowance. Please make sure that you receive this e-mail or fax confirmation. Should this not be the case, please contact our Service Center on 01805 95 95 90  (0.12 € /min.).

2. What you need to know for check-in

2.1. Please have the following available at check in: the booking confirmation that you received by e-mail or fax, valid ID cards or passports for all passengers, including children and babies.

2.2. Please adhere to the visa and entry regulations of the country of destination.

2.3. For all outbound and return flights, a specific latest check-in time must be respected. If you have not reported at the check-in counter by the time indicated, SunExpress has the right to allocate your seat to another traveller.

Base Rate

Valid for the 2009 Summer Season and the 2009/10 Winter Season

With the exception of special promotional fares, the base fare always offers you the lowest rate for a flight. You can always combine this fare with other fares, for example if you need more flexibility (Flex Relax).

Rate details

* Maximum stay of up to 6 months and no minimum stay, in as far as this is not subject to governmental restrictions.
* If you also book Flex Relax, cancellations can be made subject to the conditions and fees named in the Conditions of Carriage/Standard Terms of Business.  
* The dates of travel can be changed up to 24 hours before departure subject to the conditions and fees named in the Conditions of Carriage/Standard Terms of Business.
* It is possible to change the originally booked return flight on site after departure (rebooking abroad) up to 24 hours before the return flight in accordance with governmental restrictions and the conditions and fees named in the Conditions of Carriage/Standard Terms of Business.
* Round trip as well as one-way travel from or to Germany (subject to governmental restrictions) can be booked. Reservations of open jaw flights to/from German airports (for example, Munich-Fuerteventura-Stuttgart, subject to governmental restrictions) can be booked. Open jaw flights abroad (for example, departing from Germany to Palma de Mallorca, and return trip from Ibiza to Germany) are possible, subject to governmental restrictions.

Discount
For each person paying full fare, a discount will be provided for 2 children (under 12 years of age) and 1 infant (under 2 years of age). The person paying full fare must also have made reservations through the Condor Flight-Only program. If a baby turns two years of age before or on the return flight date, he or she must be booked as a 2-year-old child (booking with seat) to ensure adequate safety. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by another person for both originating and return flights. Children under the age of 2 are not entitled to a separate seat.

This allows SunExpress passengers to check-in their baggage and receive their boarding passes on the evening before their departure. You may take advantage of this free SunExpress Service at many German airports as well as in Basel and Zurich.

For security reasons it is necessary that all passengers be present in person; exceptions are made for families only. Please note that check-in on the evening before travel is unfortunately not possible for groups due to the rule of being present in person.

Sports equipment can only be checked-in in connection with this service if it has been registered 72 hours in advance. Animals can only be checked-in on the day of departure but need to be registered in advance as well. Please contact our travel center or download the registration form here.
