From today SunExpress offers its passengers a flight to the Turkish capital Ankara every Wednesday and from 21 June every Thursday to the Turkish Gaziantep.
Today, Wednesday, the guests of the first flight XQ 733 from Zurich to Ankara were welcomed with a gate event.
“We are delighted to welcome the first passengers on flights to Ankara here at Zurich Airport today. With this offer we are meeting the increasing demand for flights to Turkey. Besides the tourist destinations to Antalya and Izmir, our flights to Ankara and Gaziantep will undoubtedly make it much easier for the local Turkish community to visit family and friends,” says Wilken Bellmann, Head of Network Planning and Scheduling at SunExpress.
In addition to the new destinations, Antalya and Izmir are also on the flight schedule: Lovers of the trend destination Antalya even have the opportunity to take off from Zurich to the Turkish Riviera with SunExpress up to three times a day in the summer.
