Important information to earn and redeem Points

From September 4th, 2023, we will be upgrading the SunExpress your benefits member’s portal to make your booking experience even better. During this time, the member’s portal will be temporarily unavailable, and you cannot access your account, but you can still earn and redeem flights and Points.

When booking a flight, please enter your Loyalty ID number manually during the booking process. Rewards will be placed into your account. No Points you have previously earned will be lost in this transition.

Please keep your SunExpress your benefits ID number safe to ensure a smooth booking process and secure transfer of your awards.

IMPORTANT: Redemption of free flights or Points will not be available online. To redeem Points for extra luggage or seat reservations or to redeem free flights, please call the SunExpress Call Centre. Family account functionalities will also be deactivated, therefore Point transfer will not be possible until further notice.

Why am I not able to access my SunExpress your benefits account?

We are currently undergoing a significant software upgrade to provide you with an even better experience. During this transition, access to your the SunExpress your benefits account is temporarily suspended to ensure a smooth transition of all data into the new system.

I have accumulated Points & flights in my account. Will I lose them during this transition?

No, you won’t lose any accumulated Points or flights during this transition! Your Points & flights balance will be automatically transferred into the new system. We want to make sure your efforts and loyalty continue to be rewarded without interruptions.

Can I earn Points & flights during this transition even though I can’t access my account?

Yes, you can still earn and redeem flight and Points during this transition. When booking a flight, please enter your Loyalty ID number manually during the booking process. Rewards will be placed into your account. No Points and flights that you have previously earned will be lost in this transition.

How can I redeem Points for extra luggage, seat reservations, or free flights, considering that online redemption won’t be available?

Online redemption of free flights or Points is currently not available. To redeem Points for extra luggage or seat reservations or to redeem free flights, please call the SunExpress Call Centre. Family account functionalities are also deactivated, therefore Point transfer is not possible until further notice.

How will I be notified when the access to my SunExpress your benefits account is restored?

We will keep you informed about the transition process with newsletters, notifications, on our website. We will notify you in advance before access to your account is restored to ensure you are prepared to take advantage of our SunExpress your benefits once again.

What other improvements can I expect once the upgrade is complete?

With this upgrade, we are striving to improve the efficiency and overall experience of our loyalty program. Expect to see a more user-friendly interface, new options to earn and redeem rewards and an overall enhanced global experience.
