SUNEXPRESS NAMED OFFICIAL AIRLINE PARTNER OF CRYSTAL PALACE FOOTBALL CLUB

August 14, 2025

14 August 2025: SunExpress, a joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, is the Official Airline Partner of Crystal Palace Football Club.

The multiyear agreement will see SunExpress, and the FA Cup-winning Premier League football club collaborate on a range of initiatives designed to enhance the fan experience and promote both brands across the UK and beyond.

The partnership will bring exclusive benefits and events to Crystal Palace fans including the opportunity to win SunExpress tickets to Türkiye, and special Crystal Palace experiences such as VIP tickets to matches and “Money-can’t-buy-experiences”.

Max Kownatzki, CEO of SunExpress, said: "SunExpress is proud to become the Official Airline Partner of Crystal Palace Football Club, a team that inspires passion and unity with its fans in London, across the UK and beyond. Football brings people together in the same way our airline connects travellers with the places and people they love.

Our partnership is more than just a collaboration - it’s an opportunity to deepen our connection with travellers, and to build lasting bonds with the Club’s loyal and passionate fans. We look forward to welcoming them on board our flights, and taking every supporter’s journey to new heights, both on and off the pitch.”

Steve Parish, Chairman of Crystal Palace F.C., said: “We’re thrilled to welcome SunExpress as our Official Airline Partner. Their ambition, reach and reputation for connecting people with the places they love make them an exciting addition to our partner family. Together we’ll deliver creative activations, memorable experiences and opportunities for supporters to get closer to both the Club and SunExpress – whether that’s at Selhurst Park, online, or even on board a Crystal Palace-branded aircraft.”

Kicking off at the start of the 2025/26 football season, the partnership includes extensive LED profiling at the Club’s Selhurst Park ground in Croydon, London. SunExpress will also feature on pitch side screens at all Crystal Palace’s Premier League home matches, as well as Cup home matches.

Later in the season, the airline is planning launch an exciting project to develop a special Crystal Palace livery for a SunExpress aircraft, where fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite design that will be applied to the aircraft.

During games, content on LED boards inside the stadium will showcase SunExpress’ nonstop flights to Türkiye. This includes the club’s local airport, London Gatwick, from where fans can fly to holiday destinations across Türkiye including Antalya, Dalaman and Izmir, along with a new service to Bodrum from summer 2026.

The content will also highlight convenient SunExpress departure points for fans based across the UK and Ireland such as Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Dublin. This will be amplified through campaigns on social media and other digital channels.

This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for both organisations, promising innovative engagements, enhanced fan experiences, and a shared journey towards continued success.
