Explicit Consent to Personal Data Processing

In accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), I declare that I have read and understand the content of this Explicit Consent.

I consent to the transfer of my personal data out of the Republic of Türkiye (Turkey) by Güneş Ekspres Havacılık AŞ, the Data Controller, (hereinafter called “SunExpress”) in accordance with the SunExpress Protection of Personal Data Announcement available here on the basis of my explicit consent according to Art. 9(1) KVKK for the below purposes:

  • For SunExpress to be able to perform its obligations arising from passenger transport, product and service sales contracts in accordance with its legitimate interests,
  • For SunExpress to be able to fulfil its obligations arising from public and flight safety rules or airline regulations in the countries in which the travel occurs,
  • For SunExpress to be able to complete any claim, complaint, suggestion, expression of gratitude process that I may initiate,
  • For the prevention of fraud, the performance of internal audits, the establishment of security as well as the management of legal and other claims,
  • For the improvement of the effectiveness, efficiency, ease of use and continuity of SunExpress information systems infrastructure by using modern information technologies for the improvement of the service quality offered to me and provided it complies with the legal requirements.
