Carry-on Liquids
- Liquids (incl. gels, creams, sprays) must be in containers max. 100 ml.
- All containers must fit in 1 transparent, reseable 1-liter bag.
- One bag per passengers, shown separately at security.
Exceptions
- Medications and baby food needed during the flight are allowed.
- Duty Free liquids bought after security at an EU airport or onboard an EU airlne are allowed if sealed with a visible receipt.
No liquid restrictions for checked baggage.

- Extra Baggage: This baggage must be checked in and is transported in the aircraft hold. It’s available in increments of +5 kg, +10 kg, +15 kg, or +20 kg.
- Hand Baggage: This is a trolley bag carried on board. It’s limited to 8 kg and available for guests with SunValue, SunEco+, or SunComfort fares. SunLight passengers can purchase an 8 kg hand baggage allowance via our website.
- Underseat Bag:
A small personal item, such as a backpack, that fits under the seat in front of you. Guests with a SunLight fare are entitled to one underseat bag weighing up to 4 kg.
No. The 4 kg Underseat Bag allowance for SunLight guests only applies to personal items stored under the seat. Any Extra Baggage purchased is for checked baggage only and cannot be brought into the cabin.
If you’d like to bring a cabin bag (trolley bag) up to 8 kg, you can purchase a Hand Baggage allowance via our website.
Currently, SunLight guests using the mobile app can only purchase Extra Baggage (+5 kg). The Hand Baggage option is temporarily unavailable in the app due to a technical issue.
We’re aware of this and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. In the meantime, we recommend using our website to purchase Hand Baggage (8 kg), where the option is available without any issues.
