If SunExpress rebooks your flight due to schedule changes, your pre-booked baggage will automatically be transferred to the new flight.
Baggage Policies
- No single piece of baggage may weigh more than 32 kg, in line with EU regulations. Bags exceeding 32 kg cannot be accepted at check-in.
- Bags between 23–32 kg are classified as Heavy Baggage.
- The maximum allowed size per item is 158 cm (sum of length + width + height).
- SunExpress does not take responsibility for potential handling damage to Heavy Baggage.
- Passengers are advised to divide belongings into two bags if needed.
Oversized Baggage Conditions
- If your total baggage weight is below your free allowance plus your pre-booked baggage, the unused kilograms are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person.
- If your baggage is oversized and/or exceeds the total of your free allowance and pre-booked baggage, airport excess baggage fees will apply and must be paid at the check-in counter.

Security & Liability
- Checked baggage may be opened by authorities for security reasons.
- If the baggage is locked, SunExpress is not responsible for any damage caused during inspection.
- Baggage must be clearly labeled with name, home address, and holiday address.
- Lost or damaged baggage must be reported immediately to ground handling staff.
- Important or valuable items should be carried in hand baggage.
- Additional luggage insurance is recommended.
- SunExpress’ liability for lost, delayed, or damaged baggage is limited by applicable national and international regulations.
- SunExpress is not liable for:
- Valuable documents, cash, ID cards, official papers
- Jewelry, precious metals, silverware
- Electronic devices
- Fragile or perishable items
- Business or commercial papers, passports, or identification documents in checked baggage
